Vets Now specialise in urgent critical care, so are particularly skilled at dealing with emergencies. Their fully qualified staff will provide free advice over the phone and advise if you can safely wait to consult us when we re-open, or whether you need to take your pet into the clinic for immediate treatment. Only around 20% of calls result in an appointment, and in many cases you can manage the situation yourself after taking advice, so please don’t hesitate to call them if you’re at all concerned.
If your pet does need emergency care, you’ll be asked to take them to the nearest Vets Now clinic.
If your pet has a problem during surgery hours, please telephone the practice immediately and we will ensure that you are offered an appointment on a priority basis. Please make it clear that the matter is not routine and we will do our utmost to attend to you at the earliest opportunity.
There is a Sunday morning clinic from 11.00-12.00 for emergencies. This cannot be booked over the phone, just arrive at this time.
